| About Me: | Four teenagers have emerged with a new a sound. The boys have it all; they can sing, they can dance, they can rap oh yeah did I mention they can sing. Together the four, Justin ..Jae-D.. Arroyo, Ramone ..Mone.. Barge, Josh..J-Gada.. Brugada and Justin..Justice.. Wilson, are Rated E, a group emerged from a new genre of music .. rap, rhythm and blues. The group attended high school together and at first, they would battle other dance groups in dance competitions. Ramone came up with the idea of adding Gada to the group which would take it a step further from just being a dance group. ..I got the idea Rated E for entertainment instead of Everyone by watching a video game commerical. I knew it fit with our movement so we had to make it happen,.. said Ramone. Although the group has two rappers and two singers, all bring their own style and feed off of each other. But the road to success hasn..t been easy. They..ve learned to work hard all the time and to work quickly under pressure. ..It hasn..t been really hard, because it..s something we really want,.. says Justin ..Justice.. Wilson. The boys have been busy working hard on every aspect of there talents setting them apart from other groups in the music industry, practicing anywhere from four to eight hours a day. ..Our performances are our selling point,.. says Josh ..J-Gada.. Brugada. That..s where we get to show the listeners how R.E. gets down... They..ve gotten down on an album due out next sometime in the fall of 2005. The album, Jukebox, is exactly that .. a jukebox. It..s like putting money in the jukebox at your favorite spot and listening to favorite songs all in one sitting. The club songs are there, and the love songs are there, but Rated E put their own touch on the style of music and lyrics. Despite their different style, the group has still been compared to R & B groups like B2K, but it..s not a setback for them. ..We take it as a compliment,.. says Justice. ..To be compared means that we..re headed in the right direction... And the right direction has landed them appearances on BET..s 106 and Park, and local Phoenix television stations. Future plans include appearances and performance on MTV..s TRL and BET..s 106 & Park. With their hard work and determination, R.E. shows promise of success. ..We just want the best for R.E.,.. says Ramone. ..We got to have it that way and that..s the only way...
