Enthusiastically self-taught, I have been passionate about photography since I was a child and my goal has always been to create images that have "something" about them that is unique, if it means putting a twist on something standard, perfect.
Like most modern photographers, I embrace the unlimited potential that digital technology has to offer, whether it's controlling images to the final stage or creating otherworldly scenes through in-camera techniques and digital combined, it's nice to have a choice.
The freedom is now available for photographers to do corrections to help assimilate what the human eye sees to make it as realistic as possible, no camera is even close to this yet, unfortunately for alleged "purists" who leave their results up to some guy in a lab and hope for the best.
I love B+W photography and its soulfullness but I also love to try to capture the realism of color which is often more of a challenge than reducing an image to tones.
It's a dream come true to be able to create income at one of my happiest obsessions... photography.
